The yoni is an energetic powerhouse women hold, and most don’t know much about it! Yoni breathing helps us get in tune with our bodies and learn about the yoni.
I learned about yoni breathing from Grace Diaz on her YouTube channel. You can watch her video on Yoni Breathing here.
I’ve found there are so many benefits to yoni breathing. First of all, it tightens your vagina, since it involves doing kegel exercises. The kegels also strengthen your vaginal muscles and your pelvic floor muscles, giving you more control during sex and childbirth. Breathing deeply with awareness on your yoni wakes up that area, getting the energy flowing and shedding light on suppressed emotions stored there.
But that only scratches the surface.
How to yoni breathe:
1. Inhale for 5 counts, visualizing white light entering your yoni and holding your awareness on it.
2. Hold for 5 counts while you squeeze your yoni and pelvic floor muscles (kegel exercise).
3. Exhale, visualizing and feeling the light and your awareness travel up the body and out the crown chakra, as you release any tension.
And then, repeat!
